This little box came out pretty good. I love the smell of cedar!

Hey,

running through the projects pages, and your box caught my eye! Cedar has other things going for it as well. Which is the visual impact?

I have a small log sitting in my barn/sop given to me by a clock maker. I have other hunks as well. The cedar has remained w/out checks and splits for 10 years while other woods change with the humidity. including my walnut!

I’m not a heart guy but the rest of the box is to my liking. Make some more? Check out Andy and Greg. Super box makers, and very creative.

Looking forward to your evolution as a craftsman. Have a great new year!

I think your box is fantastic. I, like everyone else, love the look and smell of cedar.

Wow…very nice looking box. It looks like you sanded it down to 12000 grit :-) The finish is awesome. Very good craftsmanship.
