I made this desk tidy a couple of years ago. I cut the plywood with a coping saw and I made the pencil holders out of 2×2 / 1 1/2×1 1/2 and some 2 1/2 x 2 1/2. So please leave your comments and how could I improve this project

Hi Aaron,
The picture above is easier to see the details of the project than the larger version. But this desk organizer looks fine. It is an interesting project that would work well for storing pens and other paraphernalia. I assume the front piece is for a coffee cup.
What kind of finish did you put on it?

Aaron, The project looks great. I like the idea, kinda need something like this for the office area at work.
Have you thought about maybe adding a magnet to one of the containers in order to help dispense paperclips?
Also curios abou tthe finish.
Look forward to seeing other projects.

A great job. I like the layout of the compartments (nice mix of high and low). It looks very useful.
