This is a paddle is made to use while im fishing off of my kayak. The teeth work great for pushing off of docks and a log with virtually no chance of slippage and the hook allows you to garb and pull up to docks and tree branches. It is made from a piece of 2X4 and ply wood that I had laying around. The total length is about 2’. The shark burning was just to use up some space plus I thought it looked cool. Lastly I tied a wrist strap out of black and green 550 paracord. It is a very good back up paddle to have.

nice touch with the parachord..Did you finish the wood with anything? Necessity is the mother of invention. Nice work!

Yes I use several coats of an outdoor grade clear finish to keep the water out. Thanks!
