I finished the wood pen with CA. The aluminum pen has a carnuba wax finish and the acrylic pen has Hut plastic polish.

Nice pens. Did you do the aluminum on your wood lathe? I’d like to know a little more details about turning the aluminum.

Dan,Yes,, I did turn the aluminum pen on my wood lathe. It takes a little longer but it was still fun to do.I use a spindle gouge and a round nose scraper with light passes. I then sanded it to get any scratch marks off the finished up with steel wool. Next time I plan to use a carbide cutter to see if it will work better.
