Hello all,

This was made for a friend at work. Military personnel like to collect “challenge coins.” Most every command has their own version of one. The body of the submarine is a solid block almost 3’ in length and 4” in width. The sail is a laminate of three 3/4” thick boards. The screw was made with a dremel kit. It was a lot of fun and I have made 2 more since!

Being the proud owner of many (and carrier of atleast one at all times), I think this is a great display for coins. Well Done!

Very cool. I have a few coins laying around the house. Don’t carry one since I retired.

Thanks everyone, it was a lot of fun to build. I have now made one with bow planes that I will post after I have finished it.
