The wife wanted a pair of enclosed laundry hampers for our closet, one for me and one for her. Took a little bit of work, but I think these came out nicely. Plywood construction with solid quartersawn spalted oak top / doors; mdf beadboard panels and back. First try at cove bracket ogee feet…very pleased with the results. Pickled the oak and sprayed a couple of coats of waterbased poly for finish.

Each hamper holds three full sized laundry baskets (Walmart, $3/ea.), which are removable from the front so that she does not have to empty the hamper into a separate basket for washing.
