This took a lot of work. The parts were not expensive since I just used wood from my pallet pile. The cuts will take lots of practice. The sanding and finishing was very rewarding and the lid realy looks great.

Hand cut box joints. I thought that’s what they made table saws for! LOL You are a glutton for punishment but as long as you’re having fun…....

Great project. Free wood is my favorite kind. I like the knot on the lid, looks great.
