This why I love this site. The projects here are inspirational. This is my first attempt at the French Rolling pin I viewed here a few weeks ago. The wood is Maple and Padauk. I learned this from the Blog by Lew , Thank you, it was a great Blog

It would look even more impressive with two colors of stripes in the “knot”.
Lovely job though. Nice tight work. Any pie crust would be proud to be rolled in such great fashion.
