This is an orginal design and creation, I used Walnut for the blue, Mahogany for the red and Spalted Hackberry for the white which also includes the star, it measures 11” x 8” x 3” and has 8 drawers total the 8th drawer is a hidden drawer behind the star drawer. I used a scroll saw to hollow out the opening for the hackberry star.

Very nice. Your modular design is a great way to overcome the size limits on the band saw. I need to try this!

Looks great Blackie. The way you used the different colors of the wood to represent the real colors without staining it is ingenious. I can’t wait to see what your toys will look like.

Art not sure but wanted to mention that I had all pieces glued together first before I made the cuts, but I believe there would be no problem gluing them together afterwards either.
