Key/Letter Holder

Hello Everyone, been a while since I’ve been in the shop, but my daughter asked for this one and since it was simple I knocked it out. Made of Sycamore (my first time using it) it looks quite good. One thing I did learn is making your own filler with sycamore is a problem. It always comes out very dark no matter how you mix it. Next time I think I’ll use dust from red oak or some other similar colored wood instead of the sycamore dust. Anyway, definitely not my best work but function was the test in this case. Oh, and the tile is just a decorative floor tile from a big box store…just something to add a little flare. Enjoy!
