Cedar chests were for my 2 daughters, both maple ply, one trimmed in alder, the other in black walnut. Both boxes are alder and walnut. The box with the soccer ball was for my step son who’s a soccer coach, the other for a family friend. The soccer ball alone took 2 hours, made from 17 individual pieces of wood. The chests probably took around 40 hours each and about $250 in materials and hardware.

Nice work. A lot of TLC went into those.

Very nice work. Only 2-hours on the ball? You work fast!!! That would have taken me the better part of a day. I’m sure they were very happy, I know I would be. Great job.

-- I've never seen a tree that I wouldn't like to repurpose into a project. I love the smell of wood in the morning - it smells like victory.
