This wise old Owl was handcarved from bass wood, then feathers burned in as well as carved. Feather detail includes some feather barbs as well. Tree mount and Owl is all one piece of wood. He is painted with acrylics to look life like. Several coats satin varnish applied. Two part epoxy applied to eyes for life like appearance. He stands
6 1/2” high x 3” x 3” . He doesn’t really give a hoot about anything, he’s wise enough to stay hidden.
