I made the first picture frame for my dad. Not much to say, just some pine and the rope molding. I don’t think that molding is really made for mitering but it turned out good enough. I made the bobbers too. I had to add that for the old fisherman. The other frame is for my cabin. It’s made out of rough cedar fencing scrap. The poster inside them are old pictures back when my dad first built the cabin and us growing up out there. He loved it. I guess I should mention it only took me a year to get around to framing this. I made a couple of the candler holders for myself. I seen these in the store and I just had to have them. Not much here, but thanks for looking.

That is neat. I take it Dad’s a fisherman. You don’t happen to own a Carvewright do you? The reason I asked is that there is a lady on Carve?Wright that also has a cabin on the river – wondering if that was you.

Nice frames I like them. Not what you can buy in the store.

That’s awesome! Very personalized. I could see a small business there, someone who loves old cars, you could add a few bits and pieces from the year and make they like, etc.

That’s not me Bill and yes he was a fisherman. He’s going to be 82 this month. And he did love it. In fact he just called today wanting something else framed. Geeze. I can’t win with him. I can’t build nice frames, this is as good as it gets with me. Thanks guys!

That looks like a super gift for your Dad. I love the rope molding and the bobbers. It really makes the frame special.
