another little box made from recycled timber…little bit fiddley….a couple of small jigs were required and a lot of sanding to shoot the draws in…joints used..lap joints..finished with sanding sealer and wax.

Really nice job!! What are the dimensions?

thank you all..
i love gaffer tape…great for gluing up small items and cheap..strong with enough elasticity to give a good clamping effect..as for size …
length..300mm
width..140mm
height..200mm
timber thickness .. 12mm = sides,top,base,back,draw sides and front n back. 4mm= draw base..

The only problem with trying to do anything once you are retired is now i’m as blind as a bat!! So yes i survived the army and now i’m retired but i can not do woodworking because i live in hell texas which is called san antonio by some people and it is hot all year long as we have no winter or fall here just hot, wow it’s really hot, and oh my god i’m on fire!! Those are the only seasons we have here and if you are blind as a freakin bat then you are all sweaty and trying to use reading glasses well they are all fogged up so you still can not see anything so there you go. I had to give up wood working in fact i just gave up everything i have to do outside as i do not have a garage and now i just eat, sleep, and well you know the rest.

Have your say...
