These are maple and walnut, test tube vases. They were stocking stuffers for Christmas. The round walnut was cut with hole saws in my drill press. I hollowed the bottom one and filled it with big washers and a large steel nut. The vase doesn’t tip very easily now. The side supports were rectangles cut from maple. I stacked them and shaped them as a group on the oscillating spindle sander. I used a foam brush to apply tung oil. A simple project with very little money invested.

Ingenious, Scott! I agree they are great for stocking stuffers!

Great looking project SCOTT
This will go on my Christmas list for next year and I hope you don’t mind .
Adding the weight in the bottom makes good sense and I will keep that in mind also.
