I made this kneeler as a gift to a newly ordained deacon a few years ago. Made from black walnut and finished with 3 coats of semi-gloss poly. The cross is made from a single piece that had some sapwood. That’s why some of that particular piece has some light tones.

Beautiful piece. The sapwood in the cross really sets it off…..
