I had a customer request this combination of woods for a cutting board a little while ago. After a lot of back and forth and finally getting the details ironed out the customer disappeared and I never heard back from him. In any case I needed a cutting board for myself and was curious to see how it would look.

It is about 20” long by 14” wide and 1-1/4” thick. I routed a juice groove on one side and left the other surface smooth. It has finger slots on both short sides to easily lift it off the counter.

This is definitely my favorite board so far and grabs attention whenever someone comes by my house.

Looks great but it usually a good idea to stay away from exotic woods for use in cutting boards
