Kid's Step Stool/Seat

Got the idea from a few fellow lumber jocks and the “I can do that” series on popular woodworking’s website.

It’s finished with about 5 coats of aerosol shellac & 1 coat of paste wax. It’s made completely of red oak.

I decided to glue in the 3/4” dowels on the first go around…..once i realized they’d gone in too far I tried to pull it out….but the glue had already set…and one of the sides cracked in half! Thank heavens for pattern router bits!

Oh it’s deceivingly short….it’s not a table :) The whole thing stands about 8” tall in “step stool” mode.
