Back with another “floating” end table. This one is some spectacular avodire crotch veneer from veneersupplies.com. Edging is chakte viga hit with a block plane for a slight roundover. Substrate is MDF torsion boxes, so these suckers are HEAVY. The partitions in the middle holding the pieces upright are 3/4” copper pipe patinated with chemicals from sculptnouveau.com. Any questions fire away. I have another one right now going on, scaled down a bit for a nightstand, with waterfall bubinga veneer and solid bubinga edging. Deuces.

Wowza! That’s a lovely piece! Need to make sure my wife doesn’t see this and request me to build it, so take it down, would you? Haha just kidding. I would also love to see the side view of the table so I can get an overall impression of your work and what it would look like in my living room. ;) – Rich
