Avodire Crotch floating end table

Back with another “floating” end table. This one is some spectacular avodire crotch veneer from Edging is chakte viga hit with a block plane for a slight roundover. Substrate is MDF torsion boxes, so these suckers are HEAVY. The partitions in the middle holding the pieces upright are 3/4” copper pipe patinated with chemicals from Any questions fire away. I have another one right now going on, scaled down a bit for a nightstand, with waterfall bubinga veneer and solid bubinga edging. Deuces.

That is a very interresting table. I reallylik eit (along with the first one you posted as well). great job. It reminds me of Chris Angel and his levitation trick!

Wowza! That’s a lovely piece! Need to make sure my wife doesn’t see this and request me to build it, so take it down, would you? Haha just kidding. I would also love to see the side view of the table so I can get an overall impression of your work and what it would look like in my living room. ;) – Rich

truly beautiful! can you add a picture that shows the copper connectors…show table from other angles…
