Super simple TV stand made of MDF. I was afraid that the weight of the flat screen would somehow break the single 3/4 sides of the MDF so I laminated two together for each side. Everything is glued and nailed together. I painted it with a simple interior paint from Lowes. Before painting, though, I sealed the ends of the MDF with drywall spackle to ensure a nice even look. I got the idea from Woodsmith Shop – I’m glad I did! Nice even look with the paint. Sturdy and simple gift for the parents… cannot go wrong. More pics to come with TV on it.
Thanks.

Looks nice. I’d be cautious of sitting anything too heavy on it. I would guess that it will start to sag over time. You could add a rail of solid wood under the top to support it if need be.

Looks nice.
I like the look of the chair. Is that a project of yours? If so I would like to get plans or any measurements you could offer.
