Just finished this one. Its a nice set of bookmatched Maple boards for the top and the base is Ash. Its finished in ultra low VOC conversion varnish on the top and black lacquer on the base.

The bevel under the table lines up nicely with the natural edge. This was a fun desk to make.

Are the legs tapered only on the 2 outside faces with the bottom being the thickest? I jsut wanted to make sure my eyes were not playing tricks on me. I really like the design! I mave have to try something like the some day.
