This end table (a set of two) is made from ancient kauri (carbon dated 50000 years old) and walnut. The end tables match a set of built in cabinets also using kauri and walnut. Finish is tung oil.

Cool!! I have seen this wood for sale on e bay..it’s very expensive!! but I have never seen it finished before..it looks beautiful!! nice job!!
the description on Ebay says the wood is buried and found at dig sites..I don’t know how true that is but that’s what it said..

We really love the four-way book-matching on the top. They’re a wonderful addition to the room!

Kauri a beautiful wood to work with and the ancient kauri well old…and not cheap even here in New Zealand… lol
