Mirror with shelf

Made this mirror out of basic discarded pine and the shelf out of a broken piece of baseboard trim which I sanded smooth, then blackened the edge of it using black paint. The stain was made in two parts…the first part, which you see in the second photo, is made from boiling down beets, then adding a bit of Alum(found in baking aisle) and produces a reddish color. After that I used a coffee stain which I applied three times. The mirror w/frame is about 4ft wide.
