This closet makeover includes 5 cabinets with hanging bars in between. It provided a lot a storage space – my wife actually has a couple of empty drawers. The inside top of each cabinet can be converted from shelves or a hanging bar. The shelves are stored in the back when the Bar is used. The doors and drawers are brazilian cherry salvaged from shipping crates. I don’t know what the crates contained but they were stamped FAO Brazile. Had to fill some nail holes. If I ever move I’m taking these with me.

Tim, I don’t know what the closet looked like before you did this but you’ve certainly put it in shipshape with these cabinets. It’s very nicely done and these cabinets look great.

Beautiful closet set up. When we were building our house we went with the California Closet system. Probably 3X the cost and 1/2 the quality. It was all paper veneer over particle board. Yet another project I can add to the list of things I want to do. I gotta stop looking at all of the great things folks are putting on the project board. Either that or quit my day job.

These are very nice, and from crates no less. Great job saving this wood. You should definitely keep them.

That’s a lot of nice cabinets and a huge closet! Wish we had that space.

I wouldn’t leave them behind either, Tim. You did such a great job that they look brand new for make-overs!

I LIKE them! Great design. – Can you post the plans? – give the dimensions? – I have a need for these!
