Very nicely done and a bit of a coincidence. I just a few days ago cut the stock to build that very same clock. I am making mine of highly figured Curly Walnut for the sides and front, with he top and bottom made of clear Black Walnut. I really like the black acrylic insert, but I cut the wood to be one piece and then cut out a hole for an insert although I am trying to decide if I want to design my own clock face printed on a DVD or use an insert.

-- If it won't fit get a BIGGER hammer.
