this was my first attempt at a splined box. I was very happy with how it turned out, although i originally intended it to be a bit bigger. oak and maple finished with wipe on poly. pagoda style top was a bit of a challenge, but i think it worked out ok. many thanks to Don for the great blog on spline jigs, it was a super easy design and very functional!

Nice job! I think splines dress up a box as well as add strength to the corners.
