I made this one for my son who plays a lot of poker and always had to ask friends to bring chips to play with. I tried using a distressed leather fabric on the top which I liked quite a bit. The underside of the lid was bare luan so I stuck in a temporary laminated picture with two sided tape. Still want to swap it out with the dogs playing cards! This was also my first box with feet. They were pretty basic – just routed a profile on a square and then cut it into four pieces. The box is paduk and the bottom is lined with green felt for that “casino” look.

What a great looking box! I like the inside of the lid as well. Nice touch.
