one of my first projects in woodworking class redone
this time the wood inserts matched and the holes for screws covered in contrasting walnut plugs

Nice job… I would have not thought of mixing Pine & Walnut. It came out very nicely.

I have made many stools and now I feel bad about senting out such a ugly thing. Now I have to add this wonderful stool to my favorite’s list and start all over.
Thanks for sharing such a nice design. Great eye appeal. I like the different woods and the finish.

Looks great. I love little stools. Too bad we don’t need any more. Sometimes I am tempted to make some and just sit them around the house. That never works though.

Hi Bruce,

This piece has a nice design to it and I really like the contrasting woods. Adding the walnut plugs adds a nice detail to the piece as well.

Very nice project.
