I acquired this odd white frame from a barn so I made a shadow box out of it, cut out some R.I. reds, stuck ‘em in there with some glue, and put the chicken wire over top. My sister-in-law saw it when she was here last weekend and loved it. So I gave it to her for a Christmas present.

That was a good use of an old frame. Looks like the Rhode Island Reds are cut out from wood. How did you get the image on the wood? Did you paint them?
