This was made for our OIC retiring. I tried to make the insides depict a timeline of his career with several photos from his career. The main box was 16×20 and the side boxes I cannot recall the sizes. I added 1/4” bead on the outside face frames of each box prior to securing all 3 boxes together with screws. Hard to see in the pictures, but I also added a v groove on all the sides of the boxes. Finished with lacquer. This was actually pretty bulky and heavy when completed due to the fact that I used all solid oak vice oak plywood. This was a really last minute job due to my working hours. But I was able to complete this in 5 days on my spare time.
