Here is what I built for my oldest son this year; it’s a cabinet that holds eight fishing poles. I built it out of quarter sawed white oak and finished using a formula developed by Popular Wood Working Magazine staff that makes it looked fumed without the dangers associated with fuming. He got the idea from a friend of his who has one that is round and rotates. I built him a gun cabinet about four years ago that matches this piece, (pictures of gun cabinet to follow).
