Its been a while since I posted a project myself. Today I got tired of a large stack/pile of wood leaning against the wall. I rearranged my shop a little to make room for this bin/organizer.
I had taken a pallet apart some time ago. It was pine, nothing fancy. I ripped it into strips and made this with it. I can finally see what I have an can get to it without having to move everything away from the wall in front of it first.
I will probably expand on this idea and build a larger one but for now this will do the job!

I have the same pile of wood. While trying to get a piece from the middle or back, I always wait to see if the stack will totally fall and kill me. This looks like a sensible option and I refuse to stack the wood horizontally…....

I love seeing projects made of pallet wood! Nothing like giving the wood some new life! This will be a great asset to your shop! Great job!

Glad to see someone using the pallet wood. I have several projects in my shop made from pallets and plywood shipping containers.

Very nice rack and good use of a pallet : )
Lucky dog to have high ceilings to be able to lift the wood out of the rear compartments. I work out of my basement shop with less than 7 feet of height .

very simple but seems to be very effective. Do you have high celings? Seems like you would need them to get the long peices out.
