Something i saw in the latest Woodcraft magazine with a few alterations. Not perfect but my daughter loves it and thats all that matters. This is made from poplar.

I also had thoughts of trying my luck at building this box once I finish a couple of other projects in the works. I have a really nice figured Maple board and a Black Walnut board that are just begging to be used so maybe I should grant them their wish and build this box.
