I found the plan for this carrier online and decided to build it. The plans are not all that great originally publised by Delta back in the 50s. I made some changes by making the gun turrets moveable and changing the placement of the masts.
My Grandsons really like it and want me to make some airplanes to go with it.
It is made from scrap pine and plywood. If anyone knows of where I can get plans for more naval ships it would be appreciated.

I have not thought of a name yet. I gave her the CV-242 based on 2 grandsons, 4 & 2 years old. Will have to give some thought to a name.
