My wood carving tool box

Just some views of my carving tool box I made a while back . I used many kinds of my scrap in it and used walnut stain on it . Pine , mahogany and basswood . You can see the chip carving and relief carving on it . I don’t have any pictures of the knife edge dovetail joints . I like historical carving and keltic artwork in particular .

-- Anybody can break something it takes skill to make or repair stuff .

Amazing job on the cabinet. In the photo that shows it open, you can see a brass latch near the tools on the door. Could you tell what this does, i cant tell on the photo?
