Beautiful sofa table. I’m getting ready to make a natural edge cherry shelf to sit under the wall mounted TV. Can you share how you prepped and finished the edges?

Amy & Jay,
I always prep natural edges with brushes; rotating wire or fiber brushes chucked in a 3/8” drill, using the least aggressive bristle that will get rid of any dirt and bits of bark, and smooth the surface. When the edge is clean and smooth, I go over it with a nylon pad and/or a brass bristle hand brush. It’s ready for finish, which is usually lacquer for me, but take your choice.

Very nice slab. I really like the bottom glass panel. Good job and a beautiful piece of furniture.
