Yes, I have been relaxing over the last few days…having a rest… and this project was actually made last week…
This Cheese Board reminds me of the patterns on handmade easter eggs when I was a lot younger..A rather large oval…made from Narra and Hoop Pine with the ubiquitous Purple Heart and Hoop Pine Chevrons…and finished with Watco BBF&O

That is cool looking. It does look like a giant easter egg.

Larry,
This is a beautiful design cutting board.

I’ve been out of working since mid August, and am now in a rehab facility. The last goal is to learn how to eat food again, instead of this stuff theyv’e been pumping into my arm. I ‘ve been told that this TPN (the IV/food? theyhave me living on) ranges from a couple of hundred dollars per bag, and up to just about a grand/bag. Each bag lasts 24 hrs.
But it keeps me out of the shop & stuck in a hospital setting. All due to a blood clot in the Mesenteric (Sp?) Arterty. It sounds like it could be another couple months to get out of here. What a place to spend X-Mas this year.

Just to keep everything interesting the wife went for her annual physical, luckly she did it when she did they found a growth that was growing fast and had to come out before it turned to Cancer. Thr surgeon is 95% sure they got before it developed any cancer, Your prayers for her are appreciated.
I am sure climbing the walls wanting to get to work in the shop. I desperatly need to bring some income in.

The price of doing our woodworking to provide our income. It is amazing how fast you burn through your savings, and inventory. But who really expects to be layed up for 6-10 months.

Larry I didn’t mean to hijack your wonderful project.
I’m trying to think of how to move the comments, I’ll have to ask my son when he get’s home later tonight.

Hey larry, really nice one. how did you make the long tapered cut? you know, you can make an endgrain with this pattern, but the glueup is going to be royal pain….

At first glance I see a carpeted stairs leading to the Easter Bunny palace. You always place the grains just right to make them stand out. Enjoy your Christmas.

Rest Larry, rest. Arse on chair, footsies up, hand one on bottle, hand two on chips…......eyes straight ahead watching cricket, rugby or whatever. ‘Tis time to be jolly.

Let’s see now…....New Year’s cheese boards with the year part of the design…........hmmmmmmmmmm.

Rest the brain and hands for a few days…......things will come to you….........
