My 2 year old son loves “vaa – vaas” so I had to make him a few for Christmas. The truck is meant to look like the new Caterpillar CT660 in its basic lines. I purchased the wheels pre-made, but designed / built the body / bed. They are made of a combination of maple, cherry, and black walnut and finished with tung oil. The truck has oscillating rear axles so it can traverse uneven ground, and the trailer ramps go up and down. Thanks for looking.

Very cool for a kid!

Did you use any plans or just deign it on your own?

G’Day “grimejr”,
You designed and built the truck & drop tray trailer….wow, one clever woodworker, very impressive.
You attention to detail with the mix & match of the timber colours is tops.
