I wanted to document this a little while I carved. I had my daughter take pictures. It is only my third or fourth relief carving. The end result was, It made my daughter happy.

Nice chest! Works for me! I think it’s perfect just the way it is. There’s just something about “old” that make things more interesting.

Wow! That is gorgeous!!! I too love the finish that you were able to attain. It looks so alive! Like it has a story to tell about ships and swords and deserted islands.

Paul, you can actually add pictures inline using the IMG button right above where I’m typing right now.
