Just like every other woodworker out there, I have a few last minute gifts that needed to be done. I unfortunatly have to work on Christmas eve, so everything had to be cut and taken to work to be finished. This is the first time I have ever messed with mahogany and I must say, it is a surprise from the before to the after when a finish is put on (even the wife thought so). I have also included a video on making the wine bottle holders for everyone.

Pic 1- 2 wine bottle holders unfinished
Pic 2- 2 wine bottle holders, 1 sprayed with lacquer, 1 unfinished
Pic 3- 2 wine bottle holders, 2 sprayed with lacquer
Pic 4- Before and after with mahogany bread boards
Pic 5- 3 bread boards oil up, 2 mahogany, 1 cherry and oak
Pic 6- 3 bread boards dried and display shot

Thanks for looking and have a great Christmas!

Thanks Neil. I couldn’t believe how much of a color change takes place. The pictures don’t do justice.
