Great looking chair. Those accents are great also. I have one of those on my list to make.

How long did it take you?

Another beauty, Scott! This one looks like it would be very comfortable with that built-in lumbar support.

I built a box out of walnut and purpleheart, I like the contrast myself and I think they compliment eachother.
The tie ins give it a kind of pinstripe look, really racy to go with the sleekness of the chair. Perfect for an afternoon of NASCAR. Maybe you ought to name it the racing rocker! Just a thought anyway… great work any way you look it!

Beautiful chair Scott, and the purple heart is unique. I love the combo. And you’re only selling it for 42.00 dollars? Wow that’s cheap, you must have a lot of hours into it, LOL. mike

While I really don’t care for Purpleheart in most applications, this is really well crafted. No detail spared, huh? I imagine the templates cut the time in half. Nothing like having a template to speed up production. In reality though, template or not, you either really put in some hours or are a quite gifted fast woodworker. Maybe a little of both!

Scott your chairs are just awesome. I always enjoy looking at them – and this one was certainly not a disappointment. I love the woods that you used in it. You can certainly see the Sam Maloof inspiration in your chairs.

Scott,

I may have to rethink this whole Windsor Chair thing after seeing this rocker. It’s truly a work of art!
