I was inspired to do this after my vacation to Ocean City MD. I wanted to capture some of the great memories of the beautiful boats up there. One in particular similiar to this one I captured on video, in the early morning riding the waves out of the sound with the sun sparkling on the water, It’s chrome and stainless steel glinting…oh,sorry. I was off in me own world there… Actually the boat I carved by hand out of old barn pine, had to use a Dremel on some of it, even though I try to refrain from it. The booms, antennas, railing, and fishing poles are made out of copper wire and TIG fill wire. In the future I plan to make a replica of the Black Pearl. I also made a small shelf to go with it to hang on the wall to show it off. A buoy shelf. The boat is painted with acrylic water-base paint, and I name her after my daughter Daisy.

That’s pretty good for working without a plan. Thanks for sharing.

Very well done! Reminds me of the 8 years I spent on the Florida coast and the Hatteras fishing yacths. By the way Welcome to LJs and Merry Christmas!
