First picture is a nice closeup of the inside with finish applied
Second picture no finish applied yet
Third picture sitting on some rings that will become the rim of two larger segments bowl am making
Fourth picture is the stock I will cut segments from the pieces have a wax/oil emulsion that I use not only like anchor seal but also as a food safe finish in the end product.
Fifth picture is the segment stock before I applied the wax/oil emulsion.
Segment stock is siberian elm, the rings are black (rainbow) poplar (not green poplar) and the solid bowl is shag bark juniper/cedar.

Looks good you can hardly tell it’s segmented.

First picture is a solid bowl, it just happened to be sitting on another half done project. Although a large segment did fly out of the bowl, I glued it back in before finish sanding, you can see the crack connecting the two eyes. Does that qualify it as segmented turning?
