Hello Jock, here yet another of my so called Cheese Cake box, this one made from Tiger Maple with Black Walnut accents, finish with Danish Oil and French Polish. Sometime when you make a run of boxes one just come out better than the rest and I think this one has all the making, grain flow, joinery, accent proportions and over all appearance. Thanks for viewing everyone ….BC

Some projects you just know who built them as soon as you see them, another fine job. You are right, this one does stand out a bit, not to take anything away from your other projects.

Beautiful work! Really great at how it all comes together and accents so well.

Some great looking wood and a very nice sculpting job.

Wonderful design , BC : )
The top reminds me of some gentle waves at the beach this past summer.
Merry Christmas , my friend : )

I like the shape, the Maple, the accents, the finish and its well made. I think the rippling of the top is fighting the natural ripple in the Maple though. Overall a very good box though.

BritB , I really liked the grain versus ripple contrast , because it reminded me of sunlight penetrating the clear water as the gentle waves rolled ashore : )

Thats fine. We all like different things. This is just my slant on it. I’m not insulting the man. Just giving an opinion.

Another keeper! I like the sculpting on the curly maple. I agree with you. The wood, sculpting, joinery, and finish all came out perfect and made this one extra special.
