Well some of the Christmas gifts and orders are done. One of the walnut and maple boards and both cherry and maple boards are gifts from me to my family. The other two boards and the eagle were orders. The cherry and maple boards were supposed to be drunken but I flipped them the wrong way on the last cuts and they came out “not quite right.” Maybe I was the drunken one. LOL I was pretty mad at myself when I first noticed it, but after applying mineral oil, they grew on me. They are about 8×12 and 1 1/4” thick. The Eagle is from a pattern from Wildwood designs. I enlarged it to get the size the customer wanted. It is made of 1/2” thick oak and danish oil for the finish. I have more projects to post, but will wait until another day. Thanks for looking.
Have a Merry Christmas!!!

I just made the same mistake on a pair I’m doing, although I only seemed to flip one row somehow. Very strange!

I like the “not quite right” ones.
The hand holds are a nice touch too.
