A driveway gate to match A driveway gate to match A driveway gate to match Click the pictures to enlarge them

A while back one of my projects was a little Gothic gate on a front porch. Recently one of my friend’s dog (a Pug) escaped through her chain link driveway gate. My friend was very upset that she almost lost the little dog that she commisioned me to build a gate to match the porch gate that I had made earlier. This gate is made of pine with the boards screwed to the rails and Z rail. The wall of the house supports the active gate and a post in conrete supports the stationary side. The natural picture represents the initial hanging of the gate prior to painting. The last picture kinda shows the two gate on the house. The cats name is George.

Bob,

This is a very practical project and I like the curved design you created. It adds a nice detail to the gate.

Good looking gate – that ought to keep the little rascal in the corral.

Bro, Wehunt and Superior fence would be proud. Just one thing; is George older than dirt or what? Most cats can climb I think
