Honey locust salad bowl. Bowl is 11 inches in diameter and 6 inches tall. Sanded through 320 grit and then wet sanded with beeswax through 400 grit. Just got a load of fresh cut ambrosia maple so have lots of work to do to get it all blanked up and sealed.

Great job, I love the honey locust, one of my favorite woods, it turns soooo nice, polishes to a great sheen and is soooo hard, it really responds great to super sharp tools too. All it needs for a finish is a little oil or wax.
Nice work, thanks for posting

Great Bowl, I have turned Honey Locust and enjoy turning it too. I like the look of the sap wood really adds contrast to the color!!

Thanks for sharing
