The piece of myrtle had been laying around the shop for months, just put a bloodwood and yellowheart with ebony spacers rim on it.
the base is mortise and tenon construction with bloodwood and I contersunk a hole with a forstner bit and fill it with red malocite.
3 coats sanding sealer and 5 coats of waterlox sanding with 100 grit in between.
Questions and comments welcome!
