A last minute gift for a special someone. I got it done just in time. I just have to wax the bubinga part and glue the brass rod in place. I have to thank an unknown luberjock for the inspiration. The base was made out of a small scrap pice of quilted maple i had laying around. It has lots of color striking but i think it gives it a lot of character. Happy holidays to all the fellow lumber jocks. Cheers !!!

Nice, how did you go about making the infinity portion?

Interesting base. Nice piece.
