I just this last night just in time for Christmas. It was a commission along with a jewlery box which I will post later.

I don’t do a lot of turning but this was a fun project for me. I used cherry, glued for thickness, and maple shaker pegs. I would rather have had cherry pegs, but time did not allow that. I already had the maple ones on hand.
Finished with semi-gloss lacquer.

Nice. I sent you pictures. Let me know what you think of the jig. I have always said that I do not like to do lathe work, but I may be changing my mind. There is so much good stuff done on LJ.
